New Big Boss
On November 18th, it was announced that Cisco will acquired SA. The rumor that lingers around for quite a while that SA might be sold finally come to an end.
Out of many mentioned potential buyers, to me, Cisco is not the best choice. Apple is actually the best one I think - not only for its innovative mind, also for its location. Microsoft is also good. It would be a nice experience to live in Seattle. Cisco, Sony, Samsung, and others mentioned in the press are okay, but I rather see SA stays independent.
The thing bothers me most is the commute. If we are relocated to Cisco main campus in Tasman Street, my daily commute distance will be infated 10-times, not to mention I can no longer bike to work. What a sad thing...
