survivor
I was prepared when I walked into the office today (8/2). But when I was called into my manager's office moments ago, it was still a scary experience. Instead of the bad news, I was told by my manager that I am a survivor of this slaughter.
It was a great relief at the moment and feel deep sympathy to those affected.
After gradually learning the scale of this slaughter, the sadness and upset mount up. Simply cannot believe the hit ration in this site ~~ the number is way way higher than what company was announced. In this site, number of people stays are LESS than those let go.
In terms of percentage, it looks like,

When compare between groups in this site,
(in-group) LESS than (other groups)
The signal/message seems like that company is defocusing on this BU and this BU is abandoning this (remote) site.
