Korean class vs Japanese class
Just want to get a basic understanding about Korean, I went to the Korean class (at DeAnza College) last night. It is the first class of the new quarter. Although I had sit in another Korean class (also at DeAnza) with my friend Eddie for about a month several years ago, I didn't put much effort into it. This time, hopefully, I will register for the class.
One interesting observation in the Korean class is that there are quite a few Korean heritage students (including those been adopted many years ago. Adding second generation Korean students, about half of the class know some Korean already.
Compare to the Japanese classes that I took before, it is a quite different experience. In those Japanese classes, only few students have Japanese background.
