a roller-coaster day
late last night i got a call from the manager who is managing the project that i am assigned to at the time-being, asked me to attend a meeting at 9:00am this morning.
it seems that the project schedule will be squeezed again.
i arrived office much earlier. later, i found out in the meeting that the managers in yesterday's meeting had being thinking drop off certain features to squeese the schedule.
two proposals were discussed. although less and less work is to be done the schedule seems to be tighter and tighter.
latest news around noon is that the executive decision (on the business side instead of technical side) was made and the entire work is shifted to another group.
look like i have spent some time doing nothing for a while.
glad that i went to Linux training from monday to wednesday.
