enable on-screen keyboard on Windows10

Procedure to enable on-screen keyboard on Windows 10

You should try step 1,2,6 first and only go through step 3,4,5 if you don't see on-screen keyboard.

(IMO, the on-screen keyboard occupies too much desktop real-estate)

1. Right-click on Windows' Taskbar and enable "Show touch keyboard button"
(Fig1)
2. A touch keyboard icon will be available in Taskbar
(Fig2)

3. Click on Windows' icon and select "Run"
(Fig4)

4. Type in "osk" and click "OK"
(Fig5)

5. On-screen keyboard will show on the screen
(Fig6)

6. To enable Chinese-IME on on-screen keyboard, switch to Chinese-IME mode, (Fig7)

then click on the keyboard icon , and on-screen keyboard will be shown at the bottom of the screen
(Fig9)

Once again the on-screen keyboard occupies too much desktop space IMO.
